The Stamina InMotion Manual Treadmill is a compact, light manual treadmill which makes a good first treadmill purchase, and is ideal for those who don’t have lots of extra space for a larger, bulkier treadmill.
It is important to note that this treadmill does not have a motor, so if you’re looking for a motorized treadmill the Stamina InMotion will not be the ideal choice. There is a battery powered digital display on top, however, which reports statistics such as time, distance, and calories burned.
Some people may actually prefer a manual treadmill, as it does not need to be plugged in and has a minimum of an 8 degree incline – making workouts much more challenging than they would be on a flat automatic treadmill.
- Treadmill Dimensions: 48 x 21 x 7 inches
- Treadmill Weight: 51 pounds
- Weight Limit: 250 pounds
Very affordable – The Stamina InMotion treadmill costs just a little over one hundred dollars, and is a very affordable budget treadmill.
Light and small – Weighing in at just 50 pounds, the Stamina InMotion is very light and easy to transport. It can also fold up for easy storage.
Easy to assemble – The InMotion arrives in just a few pieces, which can easily be put together by attaching just a few screws. This model is not bulky and can easily be taken apart if needed.
Runs Quiet – The lack of a motor means the only sound produced by this treadmill will be your footsteps.
No motor – This may be a good or bad thing depending on your perspective, but don’t order the Stamina InMotion expecting it to have a motor.
No flat incline setting – The Staminia InMotion has only two incline settings, 8 and 10 degrees respectively. This makes for a much more challenging workout than you would get with a flat, automatic treadmill, and many users find it necessary to hold on to the hand bars just to stay on the treadmill. Those just getting started on their fitness journey may want to look elsewhere.
Very basic console – The console is battery powered and very basic, only reporting time, calories, and distance. This treadmill does not have a heartrate monitor.
Frequent adjustments needed – A common customer complaint for this model is that it is necessary to constantly make adjustments to the position of the belt. If having to stop mid-run to adjust the belt sounds like a deal breaker for you, you may want to look elsewhere.
The Stamina InMotion Treadmill is a cheap manual treadmill good for those looking for something cheap, light, and that doesn’t take up much space. Its price and stats are comparable to the Weslo Cardiostride 3.
The Stamina InMotion does have an issue with the belt needing realignments frequently, making it less ideal for anything above a light jog. We give the Stamina InMotion 3 stars.
